Annual Day!

By March 2nd,2009 we completed a year in Alphonsa library. Due to academic year end, we have organised our annual day celebration now in April on the 19th, Sunday. This celebration is to encourage our child members, appreciate our wellwishers, offer our thanks to the donors and to involve more interested people to support our work.

Library Day!

Hi friends!
We plan to celebrate our library day on April 19th (Sunday). We plan to have an exhibition of our library kid's talents and donation of scholarships to few needy kids! If anyone interested in helping do contact us!

More donations are coming in from many philanthropic hearts! We feel very encouraged and more responsible to make these contributions fruitful. I doubt if as ordinary human beings it is possible to just help without bothering about results! But I realise we sincerely want to make this useful to those who deserve. Those who could move forward in their lives with our support. Atleast try their best to make their lives better! For these we should try our best!

This world is still beautiful! Inspite of threats from every front to human race, to earth, to economy, is still filled with beautiful minds! There are two ladies known to us, who run a typical indian middle class family with its own ups and downs, happened to be our first donors! Just spontaneously without even wondering about tax benefits gave their cheques as soon as we opened our account. Our sincere thanks to you Revathy and Chithra!
And let us remember and thank 'the unknown-many' in this world who continue to give away without a name, fame or payback!

Through 'Advesa' we reflect our wish to do what we can to this society. We wish to participate in the growth of children from rural/ suburban background by providing them facilities not available otherwise to them. We will be more than glad if our little help can make their life brighter in some way.We welcome ideas from anyone interested in child development programs and children libraries .
